PRIVACY POLICY


This Our Military Travel Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses the privacy practices for Our Military Travel, Inc. (“OMT”) on the OurMilitaryTravel.com Site (including any mobile optimized version), smartphone app and/or textTotravel concierge service (collectively, “Site”) and how OMT treats the information that OMT collects and receives to operate, maintain, and provide you (“You” and “Your”) the features and functionality of this Site. For the main feature of the Site, OMT uses third-party companies to help You make legitimate travel reservations or otherwise transact business with third party suppliers of travel-related goods and services (“Travel Partners”). Because OMT and other third party companies, including Travel Partners, gather certain types of information about You on the Site, OMT wants to help You understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. This Privacy Policy discloses the types of information OMT gathers, how it is collected and how OMT uses it. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies, including Travel Partners, that OMT does not own or control or to people that OMT does not employ or manage. By visiting or using the Site, You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and all other Terms & Conditions and policies related to your travel reservation. If You do not agree, please do not use or access the Site.


1. What Information Is Collected


ALTHOUGH OMT NEVER COLLECTS ANY CREDIT CARD OR PAYMENT INFORMATION AT ANYTIME, OMT does collect the following information from You at different points on its Site:


(a) “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”, which is information that can directly identify an individual such as an individual's name, mailing address, phone number and/or email address. OMT’s primary goal in collecting Personally Identifiable Information is to provide You with information about travel services and to help process free gifts via the rewards program offered on the Site.


(b) IP addresses. OMT may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the website, track Your movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to Personally Identifiable Information.


(c) Other information and analytics data, including, but not limited to, branch affiliation, travel habits, general marketing information, “device identifiers” such as a universally unique identifier (“UUID”), the number of users visiting the Site, the time spent on the Site, and the type of web browser used to access the Site, is not linked to any Personally Identifiable Information that can identify any individual person.


(d) Travel Partners collect Personally Identifiable Information, payment information, and other information relevant to Your travel that is provided by You via the travel service modules on the Site.


(e) Third Party Advertisers. OMT uses third-party companies to serve advertisements when You visit or use the Site. These companies may use information (not including Your name, address, email address or telephone number) about Your visits to this Site and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to You.


(f) Except as otherwise discussed herein, OMT does not collect Personally Identifiable Information about Your online activities (aside from the submission of a Form (as defined below)) using the Site or other third party websites. OMT does not respond to “do not track” signals, if any, being sent from Your browser.


OMT NEVER COLLECTS ANY CREDIT CARD OR PAYMENT INFORMATION AT ANYTIME.


2. How Information Is Collected


(a) Forms. To learn more about services offered on the Site or to submit a claim for a free gift, You must submit the information requested in a form on the Site (“Form”) (e.g. Contact Us Form, Claim Submission Form). During the Form submission process, You must provide Personally Identifiable Information so that OMT can communicate with You.


(b) Cookies and Web Beacons. Internet browsers have a feature called cookies, which stores small amounts of data on Your computer hard drive that contains information about You. Web beacons, also called “web bugs,” “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs” may be used in combination with cookies. A Web beacon is typically a small graphic image on a website or HTML-based e-mail that is also used to collect information about You (not including Your name, address, email address or phone number). If You reject the cookie and/or modify Your browser settings to prevent / turn off cookies (which should also prevent web beacons from tracking Your activities on the Site), You may still use the Site. Some of OMT’s business partners may use cookies and/or web beacons on the Site (e.g. web hosting provider, Travel Partner, third party advertiser); however, OMT has no access to or control over these cookies and web beacons. (c) Travel Partners. OMT receives information about You from Travel Partners. Specifically, the Travel Partners will provide OMT with Your name, e-mail address, city traveled, durations of travel, amount spent, and other ancillary information about Your travel reservation.


(d) Third parties. OMT may receive information about You from other third parties. For example, if You access the Site through a third-party connection or log-in, such as Facebook Connect, by “following,” “liking,” adding the OMT application or linking Your account to the OMT Site, that third party may pass certain information about Your use of its service to OMT. This information could include, but is not limited to, the user ID associated with Your account (for example, Your Facebook user ID) an access token necessary to access that service, any information that You have permitted the third party to share with OMT, and any information You have made public in connection with that service. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust Your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to the Site. You may also unlink Your third party account from the Site by adjusting Your settings on the third party service.


(e) Web Host Logs. Other general, non-personally identifiable information is collected by OMT’s third party web hosting provider through their analytical tools and web host logs. This information is not linked to any Personally Identifiable Information that can identify any individual person.


3. How Information Collected Is Used


OMT will not knowingly use information collected on this Site in ways different from what is disclosed in the Privacy Policy that is currently in effect.


(a) Communicating with You. OMT uses Personally Identifiable Information (such as Your name, telephone number and/or email address) to communicate with You when You have submitted any Form.


(b) Analytical data. Aggregated general, non-personally identifiable information may be used by OMT to help optimize Your experience on the Site and measure traffic and usage trends for the Site.


(c) Information Shared With Third Parties. OMT shares information with third parties that provide services for the Site and You, such as travel services, website hosting, data analysis, customer service, and email delivery. When You access the Site, submit Your travel details on the Site or otherwise agree to receive a specific service provided by a third party, OMT shares the information that is needed for the third party to provide the services. We seek to require that our service providers adhere to appropriate restrictions on access and use of your PII. OMT does not share any Personally Identifiable Information with third parties without Your permission for direct marketing purposes.


(d) Information Shared by Third Parties. If You allow OMT access to Your friends list on a third party service, Your friends’ user IDs and Your connection to those friends, may be used and stored to make Your experience more social, and to allow You to invite Your friends to use the Site.


(e) Addressing Legal Issues. OMT provides Personally Identifiable Information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise OMT’s legal rights or defend against legal claims. OMT believes it is necessary to share Personally Identifiable Information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.


(f) Sale or Transfer of OMT. If all or a portion of OMT is transferred, sold, merged, ceases operations, goes bankrupt, or is otherwise involved in a transaction where the ownership or management of OMT is changed (individually or collectively, a “Transaction”) then Your Personally Identifiable Information or other user information may be transferred or assigned to a third party as part of the Transaction.


4. Usage by Children Under Age 18


This Site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of eighteen (18), and any individual under such age should not provide us with Personally Identifiable Information. OMT does not knowingly contact, market to, solicit, collect or use Personally Identifiable Information from or about any individual under the age of 18. It is possible that by fraud or deception OMT may receive information pertaining to children under the age of 18. If OMT is notified that OMT has personal information regarding a person under the age of 18, as soon as OMT reasonably verifies the information, OMT will either obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information received via a Form within OMT’s e-mail account. However, the information may remain on a log in OMT’s web hosting servers. 5. Communications from OMT


(a) OMT will use any Personally Identifiable Information that You knowingly provide to OMT (e.g. e-mail address) through any Form provided via the Site to communicate with You when You have interest in travel services offered on the Site, to process free gifts via the Rewards Program offered on the Site or for other questions, concerns, or comments related to OMT.


(b) Confirmation Emails. OMT sends a confirmation email to the email address associated with the travel reservation You have completed via a Travel Partner on the Site. This e-mail also contains information on the details about OMT’s Free Gift Rewards Program.


6. Your California Privacy Rights


California law permits California residents who have provided PII to OMT to request information about the disclosure of such PII to third parties, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. At this time, OMT’s policy is to not disclose PII collected online or otherwise for any third party’s direct marketing purposes without first obtaining Your consent. As an additional measure, You may contact OMT at ourmilitarytravel@gmail.com to request information about any disclosure of Your PII.


7. How We Store and Protect Your Information


(a) Storage and Processing. Your information collected through the Site may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which OMT or its subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities. OMT may transfer information that OMT collects about You, including PII, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from Your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If You are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that OMT may transfer information, including PII, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as Your jurisdiction, and You consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which OMT or its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about You as described in this Privacy Policy.


(b) Keeping Your information safe. OMT cares about the security of Your information, and uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. You are responsible for controlling access to Your email communications from OMT, at all times. However, OMT cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information You transmit to OMT or guarantee that information on the Site may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the functionality of third party sites and services that You connect with the Site, such as social networks. OMT is not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.


(c) Compromise of information. In the event that any information under OMT’s control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, OMT will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.


8. Links to Third Party Sites


This Site contains travel service modules provided by Travel Partners and links to other websites (e.g., social media pages). Please be aware that OMT is not responsible for the privacy practices of such Travel Partners or other websites. OMT encourages You to be aware when You are using a travel service module or leave the Site and to read the privacy policy of each and every Travel Partner and website that collects Personally Identifiable Information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by OMT via the Site.


9. Privacy Policy Changes


This Privacy Policy may change, and use of information that OMT gathers now is subject to the Privacy Policy that is in effect as of the time of use. You are responsible for periodically checking the Privacy Policy. You may opt-out of any posted change to OMT’s collection, use or disclosure of Your PII by sending an e-mail to ourmilitarytravel@gmail.com. If OMT makes minor changes to this Privacy Policy, the changes will be immediately effective upon posting the revised Privacy Policy to the Site. If OMT makes material changes to this Privacy Policy or in how OMT will use or collect Your Personally Identifiable Information, all amended terms shall automatically be effective ten (10) days after they are initially posted on the site. The date at the bottom of this Privacy Policy is the date that the Privacy Policy is effective.
